
Kraft was founded in 1903 by James L. Kraft in Chicago, Illinois. The company began as a cheese delivery business and quickly grew into a leading manufacturer of processed cheese products. Over the years, Kraft expanded its product line and acquired several other brands, becoming a major player in the global food industry. In 2012, Kraft Foods Group was split into two companies: Kraft Foods Group, which focused on grocery products, and Mondelēz International, which focused on snacks.
