Adjusting Buttonholes

Ajuste de ojales 

If the stitching on the two sides of the buttonhole is 
not the same, you can make the following 
adjustments.

Si la costura en los dos lados del ojal no es igual, 
puede realizar los siguientes ajustes.

Set the stitch length dial between "F" and 1.5 
and sew the buttonhole on a scrap piece of 
fabric to observe how the material is fed.

Ajuste el control de longitud de puntada entre 
"F" y 1,5 y cosa el ojal en un retal para 
observar cómo se arrastra el material.

If the right side of the buttonhole is too coarse 
or fine, adjust the feeding of the material with 
the stitch length dial.

Si el lado derecho del ojal es demasiado grueso 
o fino, ajuste el avance del material con el 
control de longitud de puntada.

After obtaining a satisfactory feed on the right 
side, stitch the buttonhole and observe the 
feeding.

Tras obtener el avance satisfactorio del material 
en el lado derecho, cosa el ojal y observe el 
avance.

If the left side is too coarse or fine compared 
with the right side, adjust the buttonhole fine-
adjustment screw as described below.

Si el lado izquierdo es demasiado grueso o fino 
en comparación con el lado derecho, ajuste el 
tornillo de ajuste fino para ojales como se 
indica a continuación.

If the left side is too coarse, turn the buttonhole 
fine-adjustment screw with a large screwdriver 
in the 

–

 direction.

If the left side is too fine, turn the buttonhole 
fine-adjustment screw with a large screwdriver 
in the

 direction.

el tornillo de ajuste fino para ojales con un

• This adjustment ensures both sides of the 

buttonhole are the same.
