Cleaning / Limpieza

Switch the machine off and unplug it.

Apague la máquina y desenchúfela.

Raise the needle and the presser foot.

Levante la aguja y el pie prensatela.

Loosen the presser foot screw and the needle 
clamp screw to remove the presser foot 
holder and the needle.

Afloje el tornillo del pie prensatela y el de la 
presilla de la aguja para retirar el soporte del 
pie y la aguja.

Grasp both sides of the needle plate cover, 
and then slide it toward you to remove the 
needle plate cover.

Agarre la cubierta de la placa de la aguja por

Using a coin, remove the two screws.
Lift up the needle plate as shown in the 
illustration, and then slide the needle plate to 
the left to remove it.

Grasp the bobbin case, and then lift it out to 
the left.

Use the cleaning brush or a vacuum cleaner to 
remove any dust from the race and its 
surrounding area.

• Do not apply oil to the bobbin case.
