Using both hands, slide the manual feed slot paper guides to the paper width to be used.

Using both hands, insert into the paper into the manual feed slot until the front edge of the paper 
touches the paper feed roller.  Hold the paper in this position until the printer automatically feeds the 
paper in for a short distance, and then let go of the paper.

Pull up the support flap to prevent paper from sliding off the top output tray.

If you choose not to pull out the support flap, we recommend that you remove printed pages 
immediately after they come out of the printer.
