Warning

• 

Whenever you transport the printer ALWAYS use the packing
materials that were provided with your printer. Follow the steps
detailed below to re-pack the printer or the printer may be
damaged. This will void the printer’s warranty.

• 

Before you ship or move the printer, be sure to take out the following
items and place them in separate bags (do not place them in the printer
carton):

* Fusing Unit

* Waste Toner Pack

* Toner Cartridges

* OPC Belt Cartridge

• 

Remove the Oil Bottle, and then use the syringe supplied with the printer
to remove Oil from the Fusing Unit tray.  Using a cloth, wipe up any
remaining oil that cannot be removed with the syringe as shown in Fig.
5-51.

Discard the oil according to local regulations.
