   ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the outside of the printer

Clean the outside of the printer as follows:

Turn off the printer power switch and unplug the printer.

Take the paper tray out of the printer.

Wipe the outside of the printer with a soft cloth to remove dust. Dip the cloth in water and wring it 
out thoroughly for cleaning.

Clean the paper guides of the paper tray with a dry soft cloth. Remove anything that is stuck inside 
the paper tray.

Put the paper tray back in the printer.

Plug the printer into the AC power outlet/socket, and then turn the printer power switch back on.
