The Alarm Indicator is On or Flashing

The red alarm indicator on the control panel indicates that there is a problem with the printer. Refer to 
the sections below.

The Alarm Lamp is On

When the alarm lamp is on, it indicates a paper jam or other problem that you can rectify yourself. Rectify 
the problem according to the message displayed on the control panel.

The Alarm Lamp is Flashing

When the alarm lamp is flashing, it indicates a problem that you cannot rectify yourself. Write down the 
message and error code displayed, turn the printer off and contact your dealer or Brother Customer 
Service.
