Serial Interface Settings 

Setting the personal 
computer baud rate

Use the following steps to change or confirm 
the port and the baud rate for the personal 
computer and the PT-9500PC. The following 
procedure is shown based on Windows

®

 XP.

On the taskbar, click the “Start” button, 
and then click “Control Panel”.

Control Panel appears.

 2000 Pro

On the taskbar, click the “Start” button, 
point to “Settings”, click “Control Panel”, 
and then double-click the “Printer” icon. 
Proceed to step

Select “Printers and Other Hardware”.

→

The “Printers and Other Hardware” 
window appears.

Click “Printers and Faxes”.

→

The “Printers and Faxes” window 
appears.

Right-click the Brother PT-9500PC icon, 
and then select “Properties”.
