POWER LIFTGATE

Open/Close the Power Liftgate 

  Press the 

Power Liftgate

 button on the 

Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) 

twice. 

  Press the 

 Power Liftgate

 knob (A) on 

the  driver’s door. 

  Press the touchpad on the liftgate handle to 

open the liftgate. 

  Press the 

button (B) next to the latch to 

close the liftgate. 

Programming the Liftgate Height

1. Turn the 

 Power Liftgate

 knob (A) to the 

3/4 mode. 

2. Open the liftgate and adjust it manually to the 

desired position. 

3. To save the setting, press and hold the 

button (B) next to the liftgate latch until the turn 

signals flash and a beep sounds. 

4. With the knob in the 3/4 mode, the liftgate 

will open to the saved position. 

Hands-Free Operation

To open or close the liftgate hands-free, kick your 

foot straight under the driver’s side of the rear 

bumper, left of center. The key fob must be within 

3 feet of the liftgate. Depending on operating 

conditions, the Buick logo is projected on the 

ground near the rear bumper to indicate the kick-

ing motion location.

  To apply the parking brake, press the  

Parking Brake

 button on the left side of 

the instrument panel.

  To release the parking brake, turn on the igni-

tion, press the brake pedal, and then press 

the 

button. 

Note:

 The parking brake will release automatically if 

the vehicle is running, placed into gear and an attempt 

is made to drive.
