Constellation Brands was founded in 1945 by Marvin Sands as a small wine business in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Over the decades, the company expanded through acquisitions and strategic partnerships, growing to become one of the largest beverage alcohol companies in the world. In 2013, Constellation made a significant move by acquiring the U.S. rights to the Corona and Modelo brands from Anheuser-Busch InBev, further solidifying its position in the beer market.
