TE Connectivity was originally founded as the Electronics Components Division of AMP Inc. in 1941. The company became known for its innovative connectors and interconnect solutions. In 2007, the company rebranded as TE Connectivity after separating from its parent company, Tyco International, to focus on connectivity solutions.
