Checking Exhaust Manifold

1. Examine the exhaust manifold for crack, exhaust gas leakage

and loose mounting screw.

2. If you find a crack, change the exhaust manifold.

3. If you find a gas leakage, tighten the mounting screw again or

replace the gasket with a new one.

4. If you find a loose mounting screw, tighten the mounting screw

again.

Checking Fuel Line

1. Check  to  see  that  all  line  and  hose  clamp  are  tight  and  not

damaged.

2. If hoses and  clamps  are found  worn or  damaged, replace or

repair them at once.

NOTE

• If the fuel line is removed, be sure to properly bleed the fuel

system. (See page G-44.)
