Rear Wiper Motor

1. Remove the cover (1).

2. Disconnect the rear wiper motor

 connector.

3. Remove the wiper arm mounting nut (5) and wiper arm (6).

4. Remove the wiper link cap (4).

5. Remove the rear wiper motor mounting screws (2).

6. Remove the rear wiper motor (3).

(When reassembling)

• Attach  the  wiper  arm  (6)  to  the  wiper  motor  (3)  so  that  the

dimension 

A

 is 100 mm (3.94 in.) as shown in the figure.

Adjustment of Air Gap

1. Measure the air gap with a feeler gauge.

2. When  the  measurement  value  comes  off  from  factory

specification, adjustment shim (1) is added or deleted.
