No Trailer Towing During Vehicle
Break-in

CAUTION

Don’t tow a trailer during the first
500 miles (800 km) of driving your
new Mazda. If you do, you may
damage the engine, transmission,
differential, wheel bearings, and
other powertrain components.

t

Tires

When towing a trailer, make sure all tires
are inflated to the recommended cold-
tire pressure, as indicated on the tire pres-
sure chart on the driver’s door frame.

Trailer tire size, load rating, and inflation
pressures should conform to tire manu-
facturer specifications.

WARNING

Using a Temporary Spare When
Towing:
Using a temporary spare tire on
your vehicle when towing a trailer
could result in tire failure, loss of
control, and injury to vehicle occu-
pants. Never use a temporary spare
when towing.
