All incoming messages are briefly displayed as banner notifications on the Android Auto screen

•

Rotate the Commander control and select Play. Google Assistant will begin reading the message

•

If you want to preview the message (in text form), select Preview

An icon will also be displayed next to the new notification bell on the Adaptive Task Bar 

•

Slide the Commander control left and select the notification bell to see your available messages 

•

Use the Commander control to select a message and choose to play or preview the message content 

While driving, Google Assistant™ will help you send and read text messages and messages from third-party apps (e.g., 
Skype™) without the need to take your eyes off the road.
