While driving, Siri

®

 will help you send and read messages without taking your eyes off the road.

•

All incoming messages are briefly displayed as banner notifications on the Apple CarPlay screen. To read or respond,

press down on the Commander knob when the banner notification is visible.

        Siri will prompt you

to read and reply

•

After the banner notification disappears, you’ll see a red notification icon on your Messages app, indicating that
you have an unread message

•

Rotate the Commander knob

 to highlight Messages on the Apple CarPlay home screen. Press down to select

•

Siri will prompt you to either listen to unread messages or compose a new message

•

You can also 

rotate the Commander knob to select “Show Messages”

        to view a list of contacts who have recently 

messaged you. Select to hear recent messages or send a new message
