Seat Belt Warning Beep
If the driver's seat belt is not fastened
when the ignition is switched ON, a beep
sound will be heard for about 6 seconds.
If the driver or the front passenger's seat
belt is not fastened and the vehicle is
driven at a speed faster than about 20
km/h (12 mph), a beep sound will be
heard again for a specified period of time.

Ignition Key Reminder
If the ignition is switched off or the
ignition is switched to ACC with the key
inserted, a continuous beep sound will be
heard when the driver's door is opened.

Tire Inflation Pressure Warning
Beep
The warning beep sound will be heard for
about 3 seconds when there is any
abnormality in tire inflation pressures
(page 5-27).

Advanced Keyless Warning (with
Advanced Key)

Warning indicators for the advanced key,

Electronic Steering Lock Warning

If the advanced keyless function has a
malfunction after the push button start is
pressed, the warning beep may activate.
For vehicles equipped with the steering
wheel lock function, the warning beep
activates if the steering wheel lock is not
released.

Warning Beep

A warning beep sounds when the turn
signal lever is operated to signal a lane
change on either side and where the
vehicle may hit an approaching vehicle in
an adjacent lane.
