Folding Seatbacks
Either side of the rear seatback can
be folded for more cargo space.
Caution
Folding a rear seat with the safety
belts still fastened may cause
damage to the seat or the safety
belts. Always unbuckle the safety
belts and return them to their
normal stowed position before
folding a rear seat.
To fold the rear seatbacks:
1. Lower the rear head restraints.

2. Disconnect the rear safety belt
mini-latch, using a key in the
slot on the mini-buckle.
3. Let the belt retract.
4. Pull the release cable in the
trunk to fold the rear
seatback down.
5. Fold the seatback forward.
6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for the
other seatback, if necessary.
To raise the seatback:
