Electric Parking Brake

To apply the parking brake, pull up the

P a r k in g  B r a k e

s w itc h by the s hift lev er.

•

To releas e the parking brake, turn on the ignition, pres s  the brake ped al and  pres s  the

P a r k in g  B r a k e

s w itc h.

To turn off trac tion c ontrol, pres s  the 

S ta b iliT r a k /T r a c tio n  C o n tr o l

button on the

c enter of the ins trum ent panel. The 

T r a c tio n  C o n tr o l O ff

light w ill illum inate in the

ins trum ent c lus ter.

•

To turn off both trac tion c ontrol and  S tabiliTrak, pres s  and  hold  the button. 
The 

S ta b iliT r a k O ff

light w ill illum inate in the ins trum ent c lus ter.

•

P res s  the button again to turn on both s ys tem s .

Traction Control Systems

D r iv e r  S h ift C o n tr o l

D riv er S hift C ontrol (D S C ) allow s  the d riv -
er to s hift gears  m anually. This  feature c an
be us ed  to d riv e the v ehic le in a s portier
m anner or to d ow ns hift w hen d riv ing on a
d ow nhill grad e to prov id e engine braking.

•

M ov e the s hift lev er to the left of the
D riv e (D ) pos ition. Tap the s hift lev er
forw ard  (+ ) to ups hift or rearw ard  to
d ow ns hift (– ). The c urrently s elec ted
gear w ill be d is played  in the D riv er
Inform ation C enter.

If v ehic le s peed  is  too high or too low  for
the req ues ted  gear, the s hift w ill not oc c ur.
W hen c om ing to a s top, the trans m is s ion
w ill autom atic ally d ow ns hift.
