Follow Schedule I if the vehicle is oper-
ated mainly where none of the following
conditions apply. If any do apply, follow
Schedule II.

Repeated short-distance driving.

S

Driving in dusty conditions.

S

Towing a trailer.

S

Operating in hot weather in stop-
and-go ‘‘rush hour’’ traffic.

S

Extended periods of idling or low-
speed operation.

S

High-speed operation with a fully
loaded vehicle.

S

Off-road operation.

NOTE

After 120 months or 120,000 miles
(193,000 km), continue to follow the
prescribed maintenance and intervals
periodically.
