Bluetooth

audio
When a portable audio device equipped with the Bluetooth
®
communication function is
programmed to the vehicle's Mazda Connect, you can listen to music recorded on a
programmed portable audio device from the vehicle’s speakers.
Refer to Connectivity Settings on page 7-17.
After programming, operate the vehicle center display to play/stop the audio.
NOTE
This function may not be usable depending on the Bluetooth
®
device. Consult an
Authorized Mazda Dealer for information concerning the Bluetooth
®
device.
For your safety, a device can be paired only when the vehicle is parked. If the vehicle
starts to move, the pairing procedure will end. Park the vehicle in a safe place before
pairing.
The communication range of a Bluetooth
®
device is about 10 meters or shorter.
It may be difficult to connect the Bluetooth
®
device if it is left in a bag.
This unit does not support output of digital sound protected contents (such as SCMS-T).
Playback of music from music distribution service applications such as on Smartphones
may not be possible.
Basic audio operation is available using voice commands even if Bluetooth
