Manual transmission

Depress clutch pedal to start
engine and change gears.
5-Speed: Put shifter in neutral
before selecting reverse.
6-Speed: Push shifter (

) downward

and over to select reverse gear.

Tip: With power retractable
hardtop*, if beep sounds when
vehicle is placed into gear, verify
hardtop latch is closed, if power
top does not operate when in the
open position, verify vehicle is
not in gear or trunk is not open.
