Fading With a Bose
®
Surround Sound
System (Acadia and Enclave Only)
When using fade in 5.1 Surround mode, the left front
and right front speakers will fade rearward, leaving
the center front speaker unaffected until the last fade
step, then all front speakers mute.
If the Rear Seat Audio (RSA) is turned on, the radio
disables fade and mutes the rear speakers.
When fading full rearward, you may want to select
a stereo mode rather than surround. Stereo mode
allows full audio content, center channel, voices,
etc., to be faded rearward for rear occupants using
vehicle speakers.
The following methods allow for switching surround
sound into a 2 channel stereo mode:
•
Select a stereo or 2 channel mode using the
DVD-Video top menu. Most commercial DVD-Video
top menus contain audio configuration settings.
•
While the movie is playing, select OPTIONS
to show all available DVD options. Select the
AUDIO buttons to change current DVD audio track.
