NOTE

Slight increases and decreases in
engine rpm may be noticed. This
should be considered normal because
of A/C compressor cycling. The reduc-
tion in compressor operation helps
improve fuel economy.

WARNING

Foggy Windshield:

Don’t use the

position during

cool operation in very humid out-
side weather. The difference between
outside air and windshield temper-
atures could fog up the inside of the
windshield. Choose one of the other
positions.

NOTE

When your vehicle’s engine is oper-
ated at full throttle, the air conditioner
compressor will automatically be
turned off to allow maximum engine
power. This may occur during pass-
ing or when climbing steep grades.
The compressor will return to normal
operation within a few seconds after
full throttle is no longer needed.
