Press the “Talk” button on the steering wheel or the microphone icon in the sidebar to activate Google Assistant, then ask 
Google Assistant to find a nearby point of interest (e.g., “Find a nearby gas station”)

Rotate the Commander control to select from the list of search results

You can also highlight and select the search bar on the Google Maps screen to view a list of previous destinations

Press the “Talk” button on the steering wheel to activate Google Assistant, then say, “Navigate to,” followed by your 
destination

You can also use the Commander control to select the microphone icon in the sidebar and activate Google Assistant 

Navigating to a destination using Android Auto™ is similar to using your Android™ smartphone.
