While carrying the Advanced Key you can…

  •   Unlock the vehicle by pressing the 

driver’s door request switch OR by 
pressing the unlock button on the 
keyless entry transmitter.

  •   Unlock both doors from the driver’s door request switch by pressing 

2 times OR from the passenger’s door request switch by pressing 
one time OR by pressing the unlock button on the keyless entry 
transmitter twice.

  •   Open the front windows by pressing the unlock button on the keyless 

entry transmitter and then pressing again and holding; release to stop.

  •   Open the trunk by pressing the trunk request switch OR by pressing 

the trunk button on the advanced keyless transmitter OR by 
pressing the trunk lid release button.

  •   Lock the vehicle by simply pressing the driver’s or passenger’s door 

request switch once.

  •   Close the front windows by pressing and holding the driver’s door 

request switch; release to stop.

  •   Engage panic alarm operation by pressing and holding the panic 

button   on the advanced keyless entry transmitter. Press any button 

on the remote to turn off the alarm system.

  •   Advanced Keyless Entry allows you to 

lock/unlock the doors and trunk of the 
vehicle, open the windows, and even 
start the engine without ever taking  
the key out of your pocket. You can  
also use the buttons on the advanced 
keyless transmitter.
