WARNING
Passenger Air Bag:
REAR-FACING INFANT SEATS
SHOULD NEVER BE USED IN
THE FRONT SEAT UNLESS THE
PASSENGER AIR BAG SWITCH
IS TURNED TO OFF. When using
forward-facing child seats in the
front seat, always move the passen-
ger seat as far back from the instru-
ment panel as possible. Failure to
follow these warnings could result
in injury to the child.
When installing a child safety seat, be
sure to use the correct belt buckle for
that seating position. Insert the belt
tongue into the proper buckle until you
hear a snap and feel it latch. Make sure
the tongue is securely fastened in the
buckle.
WARNING
Buckle Release Button:
Always keep the buckle release
button pointing upward and away
from the child seat, with the tongue
between the child seat and the
release button. Failure to follow
these instructions could result in
accidental unbuckling of the seat
belt if the child safety seat hits the
release button. Release of the seat
belt could result in serious injuries.
