Connecting the machine to Your
Computer

IMPORTANT

To install the software using Windows NT

®

 Workstation Version 4.0

or Windows

 2000 Professional, you must be logged on as the

Administrator.

Connect the interface cable to the parallel interface port on the back
of the machine, and secure with the wire clips.

Connect the interface cable to the printer port of your computer, and
secure with the two screws. (To locate your computer’s printer port,
see your computer’s user guide.)
