Installing the Driver
Connecting the Printer to Your PC and Installing the Driver

Turn off the printer power switch.

Connect the parallel interface cable to your
PC, and then connect it to your printer.

Turn on the printer power switch.

Insert the CD-ROM for Windows
into your
CD-ROM drive. The opening screen will
appear automatically.
Follow the instructions on the screen.

Click Install Software on the Menu screen.

Depending on the paper size you plan on
using, select Standard Driver - default A4
(Recommended) or Standard Driver -
default Letter (Recommended).

Click the Next button.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
For Parallel Interface Cable Users
If the Found New Hardware Wizard
appears on your PC, click the Cancel button.
