Open the feeder unit. 

(see image 17.1)

Pull the stuck sheet(s) up toward the rear of the 
machine. 

(see image 17.2)

Close the feeder unit. 
Important: It is a good idea to open up the top cover 
and check to make sure there aren’t and torn pieces 
of paper stuck in the machine.
