Charging the rechargeable battery pack

Insert the plug on the AC adapter cord into the connector on the machine and
insert the AC adapter plug into a standard electrical outlet. While the rechargeable 
battery pack is charging, the charging indicator light lights up. Charging time is approx. 
3 hours. The charging indicator light turns off when charging is completed.

Replacing the rechargeable battery pack

If you use your P-touch frequently, you will generally need to replace the rechargeable 
battery pack after approximately one year. While the replacement period varies 
depending on the conditions of use, you should replace the pack when it shows signs of 
holding a reduced charge. Be sure to replace it with the specified rechargeable battery 
pack (BA-7000).
