Database and backup settings ("Database" tab)
Settings for the location and length of time that database information is stored,
as well as back up frequency can be specified. The User must be logged in to
their computer with Administrator privileges in order to execute this function.

In the Options dialog box, click the "Database" tab.

Specify the necessary settings.

Click "Start..." to optimize the database.

Select "No Storage Expiration", "1 week", "1 month", "3 months", "6
months" or "1 year" as the length of time that visitor records are saved.

Select this check box to not save the photo taken in Reception Mode. If this
is selected, the photo data is deleted when the visitor signs out.

Specify the path to the file of the VM-100 database. As a default, this is the
path that was specified the first time that the application was started.

Click to display a dialog box for selecting the folder when changing

Specify the path to the folder used for backing up the VM-100 database.
When backing up to the same folder, backup files older than the 10 most
recent files are deleted.

Select this check box to automatically back up when the application is
exited. (The backup file is in the *.bmb format.)
NOTE
• If no folder is specified in

for the backup file, this check box cannot be
selected.

The database settings are applied.
