Inserting the CompactFlash

®

 card 

Follow these steps to insert or remove a card:

Turn off the printer power switch, and then unplug the printer.

Insert the CompactFlash

®

 card into the slot with the label facing to the left, pressing the card firmly 

into the slot. 

Caution

Do not insert the card into the slot with the label facing the wrong way, as this may damage the 
connector pins.

Before you remove the card, turn the power switch OFF, and then unplug the printer. To remove the 
card, pull it out of the printer.
