When the paper jams where the paper comes out or behind the 
face-up output tray, remove the jammed paper as follows:

Use both hands to slowly pull the jammed paper from the paper 
exit.

If a Duplex unit is on the printer, take it off the printer. After you 
pull out the jammed paper, put the Duplex unit back on the 
printer.
