While pressing the [blue] paper-guide release lever, slide the 
paper guide to fit the paper size.

WARNING

Do not touch transparencies that have just been printed because 
they will be very hot!

Make sure that the paper is neatly stacked and in the proper 
position on the multi-purpose tray.  If it is not, the paper may 
not be fed correctly, resulting in a skewed printout or a paper 
jam.

When you put paper in the multi-purpose tray, please 
remember the following:

During printing, the inside tray rises to feed paper into the 
printer.

■

The print surface must be face up. 

■

Put the leading edge of the paper in first and push it gently 
into the tray.  

■

The top of the paper stack must be under the maximum 
paper marks that are on both sides of the tray.
