Ink

The machine uses an individual Black ink cartridge that is separate 
from the print head assembly.

Service Life of Ink 
Cartridge

The first time you install the ink cartridge the machine will use extra 
ink to fill the ink delivery tubes. This is a one-time process that 
enables high quality printing. Afterward, replacement ink cartridge 
will print the specified number of pages. 

Replacement Ink Cartridges

Standard Black - Approximately 500 pages at 5% coverage
The above figures are based upon the following assumptions:

The printing frequency;

„

The number of pages printed;

„

Periodic, automatic, print head assembly cleaning 
(Your machine will clean the print head assembly periodically. 
This process will use a small amount of ink); and,

„

Ink remaining in cartridge identified as ‘empty’ (It is necessary to 
leave a small amount of ink in the ink cartridge to prevent air 
from drying out and damaging the print head assembly).
