Installing the bobbin

1. Slide the bobbin cover latch to the right, and then remove

the bobbin cover.

2. Insert the bobbin into the shuttle so that the thread unrolls

as shown in the illustration.

3. Guide the thread through the groove, then pull the thread

toward you to cut off any excess.

4. Reattach the bobbin cover by inserting the left end (a) and

pressing down lightly on the right end so that it snaps into
place (b).

Note
You can begin sewing without pulling up the bobbin thread.
