Signals are sent from the Hi-Lo change lever switch to the ECU. Then the signals are sent from the ECU to the
Hi-Lo change valve. As a result, the Hi-Lo solenoid valve is closed and the two-speed change spool is changed by
the force of the spring to the position shown in the drawing. Then oil between
"A"
and
"C"
(Forward and high pressure
side) is guided through the two-speed change spool to the piston on the Lo side and the angle of the swashplate on
the motor side is changed as shown in the drawing (The inclination angle becomes larger). As a result, the revolving
speed of the motor shaft is decreased.
* When, the angle of the swashplate on the motor side is changed, the swashplate on the pump side is tilted
toward the forward side to achieve smooth shift transmission when speed is changed (from Hi to Lo). Almost at the
same time that the angle of the swashplate on the motor side is changed, the swashplate on the pump side is inclined
toward its original position.
